Our Mission
At The Maisie Motel, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality pet care services to ensure your furry friends are happy and healthy while you're away. Your favorite four-legged friend(s) become a part of our family. We focus on five (5)+ day stays and can accommodate long weekends, as available.

We are compassionate pet care lovers who love providing the best care possible to your pets. Exercise, engagement and of course, love, is our focus for your animals during their stay with us. And we love to capture their stay in photographs such as you see on our site. We send them to you on a daily basis to reassure you they are having a "pawsome" time!
The Motel Accommodations
Our home is designed to provide a comfortable and safe environment for your pets to play, sleep, and relax. We defer to you regarding their stay but secretly, we love when they can sleep right next to us!
We ONLY take care of one family at a time. We are not a kennel operation--rather a boutique care experience for only your dog (or dogs). Their peace, comfort and care are our top priority.
About Us
My name is Jenifer and I love dogs. Adore them and really, all furry friends. A few years ago, I "retired" from corporate America and was fumbling around with what to do next. Around the same time, we sadly lost our beloved yellow English Lab, Maisie. After some thought and consideration (mainly my husband pointing out that we also travel a lot for his business, etc.) we decuded to hold off on adding a new member to our family. Well, I really disliked that idea.
The next day, several people were asking for a dog sitter, and the light bulb went off! What if I was the dog sitter?! And what if I became everything that I wanted our Maisie to have while we were away from her? So, I mocked up a graphic and sent it out to a dozen friends I knew and then the phone started chirping and I was booked for the next three months.
I've learned a lot along the way but my standards for care, love and attention, are unmatched. I make an effort to be with your dog(s) at least 90% of the time they stay with us. A few errands here and there but my time is dedicated to keeping them happy and healthy. I love to send their families updates and I'm known to spin a few tales of our escapades for fun.
My husband and son pinch hit for me if I have to be away for more than a few hours. I like to refer to them as my "employees" but we all love being able to experience the variety of breeds and personalities that come to stay with us.
